I love London..
London is THE city I love, in the sense that it is my model of city.
In London you can move without a car.
In London they love sports ... everyone, including rugby ... you can watch rugby on TV and live.
In London there are Pubs with English beers.
In London you can watch rugby on TV in pubs, drinking English beer and going on the tube or on foot ... the best.
In London there is art ... art in museums, art in fairs, art in galleries, street art, art on the walls.
In London everything is on the move, constantly changing, especially art and street art.
In "London Eye" there is all this ... seen, seen again, taken, lived, thrown in a blender that spins like the Ferris wheel of London.
In the last 5 years I went to London several times, with my Polaroid Sx70, always returning to the same areas, mainly King's Cross and Shoreditch, to see the constant changes.
Composing and balancing colors, lights and shadows taken over these 5 years is my homage to the city that every time manages to awaken my interest and manages to stimulate me to venture new combinations. A journalist, seeing my new work on London, said that something has changed in these works "you have given up part of your extreme rigor, to give space to expressive elements of the urban environment ... in these works there is rigor and delicacy, and great attention to color, harmony and essentiality ".
Rigor and delicacy, I really like it.
